Farm Records app for iPhone and iPad

Farm Records is a scalable, enterprise grade, platform and business application. The mobile app works in conjunction with the Farm Records website, and is for use by farmers, consultants, agribusiness, research organisations and government. Farm Records is flexible and customisable (see note at end). Broad acre cropping, pasture management, horticulture, biosecurity, paddock to plate, and legislation requirements are all possible within Farm Records. Many advanced features are included, like, but not limited to, planning, mapping, consultant recommendations, location aware observations, calendar and user approved chat. Continued use of GPS running in the background, which needs to happen when you are tracing a paddock in your vehicle or if you elect to turn it on to see your current position, can dramatically decrease battery life. Farm Records can be used online or offline. Full geo-referenced paddock history and mapping is available offline. Farm Records is fast to sync data, often taking less than a minute to sync thousands of records, although internet speed will impact this time to sync. Aggregation of data, including weather, IOT sensors and spatial information collected outside of this mobile application, will help to provide a complete picture of what happens in the paddock. Real time dashboards and yield prediction capabilities are coming soon. Farm Records is working with other application developers and third party data providers to provide an extensive feature set and aggregate large data sets. Farm Records acknowledges that the farmer owns their data and will not sell or use the data collected unless the farmer gives express permission (see privacy policy).
